Pastor Gordon Edwards

God called Pastor Gordon Edwards and his family to South Haven in August 2003. Pastor Gordon is happily married to Sonya, and the couple has four children: Emily, Caleb, Tyler and Megan.

Pastor Gordon began his work in the ministry as an associate pastor in Missouri prior to coming to Michigan. While there, he spent 12 years as a youth pastor, five years as worship leader and an assistant to the senior pastor at the Grant Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.

Gordon's wife, Sonya, is the director of the Sunshine Day Care & Pre-School based out of the church. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading & Literacy.
